About Kaizen Gym

We are a boutique training centre located in the St George area. We strive to bring the most effective and innovative fitness and martial arts programming available to deliver our members results. The Gym is equipped with a fully matted upstairs grappling room, boxing ring and designated fitness area with the latest equipment. We currently offer programs in self-defence, Muay thai and functional fitness. We are now looking to add Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as a core offering.

The Opportunity

Your role will be run and manage the adults training program and assist the kids class. You will work to set an example in the school in terms of attitude, behaviour and will act as a role model for all students. Your role will also be responsible to develop a team (kids, adults and athletes) with a view of making the club a leading team competitor across NSW, Australia and the global stage. 

Your Role

• BJJ experience essential (purple belt or higher)
• First aid course completed and up to date
• Working with children check
• To assist in creating a unique BJJ program
• Healthy, fit and the ability to work in a high-paced fitness environment 
• Experience / ability to work with a range of students from adults, kids, juniors through to competitors / fighters
• Excellent communication, relationship development and administration skills
• Dependable, reliable, approachable and able to multi-task

The Rewards

This is a contract role so remuneration will be an hourly rate with uniform allowance and free access to other programs and facilities. You will get further opportunities to generate extra income through private training as well as seminars and workshops and competition training. As the role develops there is also the possibility of the role expanding.
