Responsibilities

  • Manage all operational responsibilities within the club, with a focus on prospects, sales and growing the membership database and retention
  • Making sales, retention and arrears calls. 
  • Leadership of a team including recruiting and training competent staff that match our core values whilst bringing their own unique attributes to the club.
  • Upholding safety standards, with an emphasis on COVID-safe compliance.
  • Managing customer complaints and problem resolution. 
  • Maintaining a high level of customer service at all times. 
  • Maintaining merchandising requirements and stock levels.
  • Ensure opening and closing procedures are strictly followed. 
  • Ensure gym is always cleaned at the start and end of any shift, referring any issues t the contracted cleaning company. 
  • Complete daily reports in line with guidelines set by the directors. 
  • Providing an exceptional member experience from first contact all the way through their journey with Anytime Fitness.
  • Being an ambassador for the brand and ensuring the club exceeds excellence in brand, professional and personal standards at all times.
  • Celebrating success with both staff and members.
  • Creating a positive, welcoming, and friendly environment for all people that connect with Anytime Fitness.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Experience managing a team of people to achieve KPIs and targets, including recruitment, induction, and rostering.
  • Customer service or sales experience, including work as a Business Manager (ideally 3+ years).
  • Ability to read statistics and financials of a business including P&Ls.
  • A passion for fitness essential.
  • Certificate III and IV in Fitness preferred, but not essential.
  • Willingness to adhere to high safety standards, including COVID-safe plans and regulations.
  • A willingness to lead sales and local area marketing initiatives, including in shopping centres, club tours, up-selling and cross-selling of services.
