Genesis Health + Fitness Lawnton has been a part of the local community for 15 years and is one of North Brisbane's premier health clubs. Locally owned and operated, our group includes Genesis Health + Fitness Lawnton and Windsor Clubs.
Our Lawnton Club is a large big-box facility with 4 different training studios including our popular Coaching Zone program, a large gym floor, functional training and boxing zones, and a large Kids Club creche.
The Opportunity:
The Membership Manager at our Genesis Health + Fitness Lawnton club takes responsibility for leading our Membership team to maximise membership growth through acquisition and retention activities and create a positive member experience.
The Membership Manager's role is to also train, develop and mentor their Membership Team by providing them with the tools to succeed in their role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily workflow of the club's Membership Team to ensure weekly and monthly targets are achieved
- Achieve your own individual sales targets proportionate to the Club's targets
- Assist with the delivery of sales training to develop the Membership Team
- Achieve member retention and growth budgets on a monthly basis
- Conduct daily 1:1 and team meetings with the Membership Team
- Assist in planning, organising and executing marketing & corporate activities
- Assist in Membership Team rostering

To be successful in this role you will need:
- Minimum of 12 months of experience managing a team in a sales environment
- Able to demonstrate proven sales and customer service experience with a clear ability to hit KPI's
- Previous experience of customer service management including retention & engagement strategies
- Previous experience of managing and mentoring a team
- Ability to engage and inspire a team towards a common goal
- A passion for fitness and sales
