Before starting with Fitness Edge, I lead an inactive and unhealthy lifestyle. In the 10 months I have been training with Brent, I have lost 10kg and become fitter, stronger and happier. I train twice a week, enjoying a variety of exercises. My favourites being the leg press, rower and weight based training. Brent keeps me motivated during the sessions and varies the workouts to keep challenging me as my fitness improves. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Fitness Edge to anyone.

I had given up smoking and being 60 didn’t want to fall into the trap of eating to replace my old habit. I wanted to increase my fitness levels because I wanted to be able to play with my grandchildren and see them grow up. I have polio in my right leg and Brent was able to give me a program with this in mind. We soon realised there wasn’t a lot I couldn’t do, just needed to modify the exercises slightly. This is the first time I have done any sort of exercise and thoroughly enjoy it.

As I was about to turn 50, I decided it was time to take control of my health and body. I have been to several gyms over the years but since being diagnosed with Fibromyalgia have had difficulty in finding the right exercise for me. My first visit with Brent was in October 2013 and he was keen to know what I wanted from training and to assess my level of fitness. From this session he devised a program that we agreed would work for me. He was easy to talk to and understood my needs.
