May is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT200) with Yoga Alliance. She completed her training with Power Living Australia.

May is also a Pilates and a Les Mills BODYBALANCE Instructor.

May is a former university lecturer in Journalism and Television Production, a photographer, and a TV scriptwriter from Bangkok, Thailand. She had decided to take a little adventure to Melbourne in 2002 to pursue her higher education. She completed her MA in Communication Studies from RMIT. After graduation, she chose to live permanently in Melbourne.

May has studied extensively in a wide range of fields including;
