I have been an instructor and Personal Trainer since 1998 based in both Melbourne and Sydney I used to teach between 25-30 classes per week as a freelance instructor- healthlands, Pumphouse, FTP, Sydney uni, manly leagues, Inshape, norths. It was challenging but totally rewarding and fulfilling. Then I found my home at Fitness First. I started in 2000 and other than a short break where I lived overseas it’s been the main source of employment, joy, laughter and wonderful friendships. Now I teach between 10-15 Group Ex classes a week with a focus on Les Mills training systems: Body Pump, Attack, Combat, Step and Balance. I also held a Personal training franchise at FF Nth Sydney for 8 years where I specialised in women’s fitness, strength and conditioning as well as pre and post natal trading and fitness. Now, other than my classes I conduct studio personal training for Individuals, small and large groups.

I have a passion for helping people by engaging them in physical activity. I endeavour to emotionally connect with each person I encounter and to lift their confidence both mentally and physically. Each person I train will know that they are important, that they are worthy and that they not only have physical strength, but inner strength to allow them to live their lives. I gain trust with each person and bring out their best abilities. Each person I train will become more confident not only in the gym but in their own skin.

I've been employed in the Fitness Industry continually since 1993 as a Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer. I have managed several gyms and ran my own private studio for a few years. I have been an instructor assessor, giving certification to group fitness instructors and contributed to writing course components for the GEL Certification.
