A Bit About Me
I am the owner and head trainer at Tammy Curtis - Fit for All personal training studio newly relocated in Ocean Grove, Melbourne.
My interest in the industry came about when I retired from the Australian Women's Indoor Volleyball team and wanted to follow a fitness passion. It has given me many experiences including working as a trainer in a major London law firm, managing corporate facilities in Melbourne and Auckland, and working across a number of commercial facilities and fitness businesses such as Fernwood, Step into Life and the Australian Institute of Sport.
For 10 years I was a lecturer at Australian Fitness Academy teaching the Cert III & IV in Fitness. This is where I got to share my 20+ years of knowledge in the industry.
My passion lies in the rehab aspect of fitness and is the current direction of my business in the Bellarine Peninsula.

I've been seeing Tammy for PT sessions over the last few months. Tammy's considered and holistic approach, working out how best to train me (being mindful of my past injuries) has meant that I've been able to improve my strength and movement considerably without re-injuring myself. I've tried other trainers and approaches in the past and have not had the level of success like what I am experiencing with Tammy in such a short time. I highly recommend her as a trainer and look forward to continuing our training sessions.

Tammy has been a lifesaver for me. Each week I look forward to our personal training session, as much for my mental well-being as my physical health. She adjusts to suit my needs on the day and there is never a chance to get bored as every session is a bit different. She always goes above and beyond to find out more about certain conditions or techniques to ensure the training program is optimal for the client. Her welcome advice extends beyond just exercise by providing a holistic approach that is achievable and fun. Tammy is a personal trainer for all the right reasons - because she genuinely wants to help people create a balanced and healthy life.

I have been a client of Tammy's now for over 2 and a half years. When I commenced I was experiencing lower back pain and had lost alot of strength. Tammy assessed my condition extremely well and within less than 6 mths I was completely pain free. My strength has improved considerably, along with my general fitness. Each session is very varied and fun. I have been to other trainers they have often worked me to hard initially and I end up in pain. Tammy is an excellent, compassionate, caring trainer who takes into account a clients age, condition and lifestyle. She is also reguarly upgrading her qualifications and knowledge.
