The new FITREC site is now more closely integrated with HealthyPeople. Most notably, with a new single login that provides access to both platforms.
WILL CREATING AN ACCOUNT ON ONE (eg., FITREC) AUTOMATICALLY CREATE AN ACCOUNT ON THE OTHER (eg., HealthyPeople)?
No. An account on one platform does not automatically create an account on the other. If you wish to create an account on either of the platforms, you will still need to register. However, the process will be much easier with an existing HealthyPeople/FITREC account to begin with. Think of it like a Meta account, which is the first step to accessing Instagram/Facebook/WhatsApp.
WILL LOGGING IN WITH GOOGLE OR LINKEDIN CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT?
Not if the email address associated with that account is the same. Our system will match the email address to your account, and everything will be fine. If the email address is different, the system will set this up as a new account.
If you have an existing FITREC/HealthyPeople account, we recommend logging in with your email as normal and then connecting your social media logins. To do this on either platform, click on your name in the upper right of the screen > Manage Account > Social logins. Then Add/Remove accounts as required.
WHAT ELSE CAN I USE THIS LOGIN FOR?
FITREC Circle also uses the same login, although you will need to have an active FITREC registration.
WHAT OTHER BENEFITS DOES THE SINGLE LOGIN PROVIDE?
FITREC registered professionals have the option to apply for jobs on HealthyPeople, using their FITREC profile as their CV. The application then populates the employer’s applicant list alongside other applications received via HealthyPeople.
Profile pictures on FITREC will automatically be added to your HealthyPeople account (if there is not a picture there). This can be managed on both sites.
Future integrations include: making it easier for FITREC-registered professionals to promote themselves as looking for work across both platforms; making it easier for employers to recruit, manage and support their teams; and adding Traky to this login option.
