Tammy Curtis
I am the owner and head trainer at Tammy Curtis - Fit for All personal training studio newly relocated in Ocean Grove, Melbourne. My interest in the industry came about when I retired from the Australian Women's Indoor Volleyball team and wanted to follow a fitness passion. It has given me many experiences including working as a trainer in a major London law firm, managing corporate facilities in Melbourne and Auckland, and working across a number of commercial facilities and fitness businesses such as Fernwood, Step into Life and the Australian Institute of Sport. For 10 years I was a lecturer at Australian Fitness Academy teaching the Cert III & IV in Fitness. This is where I got to share my 20+ years of knowledge in the industry. My passion lies in the rehab aspect of fitness and is the current direction of my business in the Bellarine Peninsula.

As a Strength and Nutrition Coach, I’m passionate about the science of human performance and its ability to meaningfully impact people’s lives. I’ve been an athlete my whole life, primarily in gymnastics; I used to coach kids and I still compete as an adult. But I wasn’t always a personal trainer. I had a 15-year corporate career in senior leadership roles where I experienced firsthand the challenge of prioritizing physical and mental health in a day packed with meetings and stress. I eventually traded the meeting room for the weight room to help others navigate that same balance. I became the number one coach at Equinox Santa Monica, a high-end luxury gym in one of the world's most competitive fitness markets. After hearing from so many clients how our work together fundamentally changed their lives, I haven't looked back.
