STRONG Cheltenham is looking for a Studio Manager who is incredible with people, someone who can walk into a room and make every member feel like they belong there. You know how to build relationships, you're comfortable turning a conversation into a sale, and you're hungry to grow something that's yours.

This is a transition role. Our current Studio Manager is heading off on maternity leave in the coming months, and we're bringing someone on now to train alongside her, learn the studio inside and out, and be fully ready to step up when she finishes. You'll most likely start part-time while you get across the systems, the classes, and the community, moving into the full role as the handover progresses.

Founded in 2019, STRONG Pilates is a first-of-its-kind, untraditional workout, more than your typical Pilates class. Our purpose is simple: we exist to be the reason people worldwide feel strong. Through the Rowformer, RIDE, and our instructor-assist technology, we deliver a low-impact, high-intensity workout built on training longevity, community, and substance. STRONG Humans are down for more — and we're looking for a Studio Manager who is too.

What you'll own

Growth: Own the growth of the studio across every part of the member journey. Generate new leads, turn enquiries into first visits and first visits into members. Drive membership growth, retention and revenue, while keeping classes full and utilisation high. Understand the numbers, know where the opportunities are and take action to improve them. Get out into the Bayside community, build local partnerships and make STRONG Cheltenham a recognisable and valued part of the neighbourhood.

The member experience: More than knowing names, you'll know why people are here. You'll know who is chasing a goal, who hasn't been in lately, who has found their STRONG buddy and become a leader in the studio community, and who is quieter and needs a little more 1:1 encouragement to feel like they belong. You'll notice the little things, celebrate the wins and make sure every member feels seen, supported and valued. Build a room people want to be in and a community they don't want to leave.

The Team: Build a tight-knit, high-performing team where people feel supported, challenged and proud to be part of STRONG. Support and back your instructors, create clear expectations and hold the STRONG standard every day. Own rostering and communication, give regular feedback, recognise great work and create opportunities for ongoing development. Lead by example and build a team that delivers an exceptional experience every time someone walks through the door.

The operations: Own the day-to-day running of the studio and make sure the details are taken care of. Manage member accounts, scheduling, communications, marketing and admin through our CRM. Keep the studio organised, energised and immaculate, ensuring every touchpoint reflects the STRONG standard. Instruct STRONG classes following successful completion of STRONG Academy, while staying connected to the member experience and what is happening on the studio floor.
