Registered Fitness Professional

I have worked in the fitness and leisure industry for over 40 years. My roles have included fitness leader, aqua and pilates instructor and personal trainer. My experience being a member of a multi-disciplinary team during my mother's rehabilitation following a major stroke was the catalyst for my present focus of working with older persons. My passion is to assist people of all ages and abilities achieve positive health outcomes through fitness and leisure activities saw me establish my own business 'Growing Young' in 2012. For the last 13 years, my work has focused on facilitating physical activity and recreational programs for older adults using a holistic approach. My ongoing objective is to show my clients the multiple benefits of leisure participation and movement as a way of enhancing quality of life.
