A Bit About Me
After many years of instructing hi intensity group exercise classes, I decided to explore a more holistic approached to health and fitness. After I completed my first Tai Chi course in 2011, I realised I had found the perfect fit. Since then, I have studied under several Masters and after many years of practice, I have been awarded Instructor certificates to teach Weapons, Falls Prevention, Cognitive Health, Yang style and other mainstream tai chi Forms. In 2019 I travelled to Beijing to study under Master Yang Bu Ying at the Beijing Sports University. I have developed an online learning programme specifically for beginner Tai Chi students. In 2022 I was awarded the national Exercise Professional and Victorian Group Exercise Instructor. In the last 12 months I have developed courses in teaching Tai Chi: Foundations in Teaching, Level 1 Beijing 24 Instructor and Level 2 Beijing 24 Instructor. I have recently earned 3rd Duan belt in the Art of Tai Chi, through Master Jesse Tsao.

Just a short note to say how much I am enjoying the online school. I like the way you've set it out with different options for warm ups, standing meditation and Qigong and the verbal informative explanations. It's going be a great tool for planning my classes. Also, I like the way you have limited the standing meditation to just three moves and use the repetition, it's very relaxing. I'm finding its simplicity a good way to ease into practising more difficult forms. I think with your help on zoom, my tai chi has thrived this year.

I cannot recommend the ‘Teach Tai Chi’ course enough nor anything Jenny Harrison & the RMTC school has to offer! The course material is well thought out and plentiful. The classes were engaging and fun whilst Jenny patiently taught us not just the theory and the practical but how to harmonize this into a balanced and thoughtful class. Also so many different modifications for participants with disabilities.

Great approach to learning in general. Inclusive, safe environment for students to share and ask questions. Jenny is very thorough and knowledgeable in teaching Teach Tai Chi Level 1. Jenny encourages correct technique and teaches us the finer points of each move.
