A Bit About Me
I started working in the fitness industry during the early 1980's and continued for about 20 years. Not only working in a gyms, I also put football and soccer clubs through their paces. Having been on a hiatus gym work has never stopped. I am continually challenging myself and I also found a passion in water sports.
I enjoy Outrigging and Dragon Boat racing. I am a Level 1 & 2 Accredited Coach for dragon boating. My Club, Manly Dragons, Queensland, are National and World champions. I have represented Queensland in the State Squad and also a Divisional Coach. I was also in the team representing Australia at the 2015 World Champs, Welland, Canada and 2023 World Champs, Thailand.
Training, in any form, is a part of my life; and I am constantly upskiling in various ways - through peers, hands on experience, reading . I enjoy encouraging and motivating others to get involved in exercise in any way or mode possible.
