A Bit About Me
A highly experienced personal trainer, motivator and friend.
Having been a personal trainer since 2002, I have helped hundreds of clients achieve their goals.
Everything I know, I share with my clients because knowledge is power and key to achieving results. As a PT, I practice what I preach, being a huge advocate for healthy living beyond the gym.
My experience spans from strength training to Olympic lifting, Thai kickboxing, fat loss and mobility. The plans I design are customised to you. So if you’re after a nutrition plan and workout program that you can manage independently, I can do that. Or if you’re after a more hands on approach, I can do that too.
While I don’t take myself too seriously, I do take goals seriously. So if you’re excited to change how you look and feel, let’s get the ball rolling now!

Steve Proimos has been a Personal Trainer at Fitness First Darlinghurst since February 2007. Steve is one of our most senior trainers with a vast knowledge background spanning from Thai Kickboxing to Strength and Conditioning. Not only this, but Steve has the personality and attitude to support his skill set, he constantly goes above and beyond for his members and fellow Personal Trainers in club, lending a hand to help out those just starting their careers. Steve is extremely valuable to our club and I would to see his efforts over his lengthy career be recognised.

Have been training with Steve for more than 10 years. My favourite part of training with Steve is…Steve. He’s such a great human being…and beyond that, our training sessions almost happen by stealth. I never feel daunted or anxious beforehand, I rarely feel like I am working hard, and I never have to think about what I am doing…I just do what Steve tells me to do and BOOM, muscles! Which is not to say that I am not interested in my body. Steve and I have many detailed conversations about technique and form and which muscles we’re targeting. He’s a Ninja!

I have been training with Steve for a bit more than 3 years now, had tried a couple of PTs before and they had their strengths but Steve is the one that I find encompasses all I need. Not only I get clear results, I really feel like everything I do is having an impact and I’m not wasting my time. He is also the one keeping me to it and checking on me whether it’s a quick text to see if everything is ok when I’ve not been in for a few days or asking questions around my diet and how I feel. Finally and it ties everything together for me, he is just fun and great to train with. Steve has proven to be highly technical and skilled while simply being a pleasure to catch up with.
