My philosophy focuses on continual lifelong learning as I work towards enhancing the well-being of my clients and participants by empowering them with the knowledge, skills, support, guidance and the resources they need, to assist and inspire them on their personal journey. I have worked in and across the fitness and health sectors for 12 years. Whilst I studied a bachelor of exercise science and psychology, I worked with a variety of age groups and found the demographic I was working with really had a misconception of what fit and healthy meant. This inspired me to change course direction to become a health and physical education teacher so that I could teach and equip the future generations with the skills and knowledge to form a well rounded, holistic approach towards developing good healthy habits. I am passionate about getting people moving and maintain an active involvement teaching groups & group fitness.

Hi, I’m Jo — a Group Fitness Manager, trainer, and lifelong believer in the power of movement. I got into the fitness industry to help people discover what they’re truly capable of, to watch confidence grow, and to empower others to become the strongest, happiest version of themselves. My love for group fitness runs deep. There’s something special about the energy in a room full of people all working toward their goals together — the music, the community, the shared grit. Strength and interval training are my passion, not just for the physical results but for the way they transform your mindset and spark real change. When I’m not coaching or creating workouts, you’ll probably find me with a Boost “Gym Junkie” shake in hand, chasing my own fitness goals, or enjoying a game of tennis when life allows. Helping others believe in themselves is why I do what I do. Fitness changed my life — and now I get to help change others’.
