This course provides fitness professionals with the skills and knowledge required to plan and deliver safe exercise for children and young adolescents. It involves planning, demonstration, instruction, review and modification of activities and instructional techniques to meet participant needs.Upon completion of the Instructing Exercise to Children and Adolescents, students will be able to:
- Determine the movement and fitness requirements of children
- Plan movement and exercise sessions
- Instruct and evaluate movement and exercise sessions

Course Timeline: 3 Months
Assessment Requirements: To complete the course, you’ll be required to complete a short written assessment (containing multiple choice and short answer questions) as well as provide a practical demonstration of the skills you’ve learnt, which can be completed via film submission.
The course is presented using a variety of interactive slides, videos and notes. As a self-paced course, you can study when it suits you.
