Helping Your Clients to Build Good Habits

Behavior change through the formation of new habits requires consistency over time. This course provides an insight into the science behind habits and motivation and shows how to use this knowledge to help your clients succeed in their goals.

Upon completing this course, you’ll have developed the skills and knowledge to recognise the difference between motivation and habits and assist clients with establishing new habits to help achieve their training goals.

As a self-paced course, you can work through the content and assessment in your own time, with 3 months of total access.

Course Overview:

  • Learn to recognise the difference between motivation and habits
  • Learn about the importance of habit formation over motivation and why it’s necessary for successful behaviour change
  • Develop an understanding of counteractive control and friction, and learn how to utilise these concepts to increase the success of new habit formation
  • Learn to apply your knowledge of motivation and habits to real-world examples to assist clients attempting to form new habits
  • Self-paced online course (over 3 months)
