Kettlebell Fundamentals Rundown

Further Your Fitness in conjunction with Onfit Training College is excited to present Kettlebells Fundamentals.  

Duration: 4 Hours
Instructor: Jared Thomlinson
Cost: $150


INTRODUCTION - 15 MINUTES
The introduction includes a detailed safety brief that involves – risk assessment and analysis, rules and regulation of the course, basic first aid kit run through.
 
WARM UPS - 15 MINUTES
A range of fun, creative and sport-specific ways to warm up group and personal training clients. We also do rotator cuff safety, shoulder and hip priming exercises.
 
KETTLEBELL FUNDAMENTAL TECHNIQUE - 1 HOUR
Correct way to hold kettlebells, recommended stance techniques, potential exercise selections and integration into group and personal training.
 
BREAK - 15 MINUTES
 
KETTLEBELL EXERCISES - 1 HOUR
Workshop of various kettlebell exercises.
 
COOL DOWN OPTION - 15 MINUTES
Kettlebell cool-downs.
 
ASSESSMENT - 1 HOUR
Group kettlebell session outlining all the fundamental skills learned. This part of the course will give an in-depth look at how to structure a beginner group kettlebell session using components of a group session including; demo (including technique points), warm-ups, workouts and cool downs.
 
In this section, the participant will structure and facilitate a 20-minute kettlebell session for a random group member to participate in. This will be assessed by the presenter via the assessment checklist.
