PCYC NSW is a registered charity, whose mission is to empower young people to reach their potential through Police and community partnerships.

With 66 clubs across the state, PCYC provides quality activities and programs in a safe, fun and friendly environment.

Our aim is to engage with and positively influence our 100,000+ youth members through mainstream sport, recreation, education, leadership and cultural programs.

About the Role 

As part of the Club Sports and Recreation team, you will play a critical role in supporting our clubs in their gym and fitness programs and portfolios. This role provides direction in: 

• Strategic management of the Gym and Fitness portfolios' performance including proactively identifying risks and issues and identifying opportunities for growth and improvement across the network. 
• Up-to-date reporting by identifying trends, risks and opportunities across the business and assisting with the development of related strategies
• Best practice sales strategies and initiatives to drive growth throughout the business
• Ensuring all clubs reach joiner, leaver, growth and personal training budgets and targets on a monthly basis 
• The delivery of marketing and promotional activities
• Effectively driving new gym openings and/or improvements 
• Supporting the training and development of gym and fitness staff within PCYC clubs

About You

• Do you hold or you are working towards attaining a tertiary qualification in Business, Sports Management or a related discipline and/or a Certificate III & IV in Fitness?
• Do you hold or you are working towards attaining coaching accreditations (desirable)?  
• Do you have experience successfully managing multiple fitness centres/gyms?
• Do you have the ability and drive to achieve sales and retention targets
• Do you have passion and the ability to mentor, lead and inspire?
• Do you have analytical and report-writing skills?
• Do you have the ability to develop, implement and analyse strategies to optimise operational performance? 
• Do you have experience in budgeting and forecasting, including P&L management?
