Ian O'Dwyer, known as OD, has a diverse 30-year career in movement and fitness. As a Movement Coach, Sports Conditioner, Personal Trainer, Body Worker, Global Educator, Author, and Mentor, he's renowned for his holistic approach.
Leading the OD on Movement Performance Studio for 24 years in Queensland, he's also a pivotal figure in global fitness education, notably with PT on the Net and as a co-founder of PTA Global. Currently, he co-leads Feel SOMA, blending innovation with a deep understanding of movement and tissue conditioning.

Ian is an inspirational and very knowledgeable mentor for me. Ian and PTA Global played a major role in revolutionizing the Training Department within Fitness First Germany. He inspired my colleagues and myself to implement the PTAG principles which in turn had a huge impact on our business – on the internal and external perception as well as in terms of revenue. In 2011, I took part in his mentorship in Noosa Heads. Three days of intense learning, self-reflection and last but not least - lots of fun! Ian O'Dwyer is a healer, and I don't use the word lightly. Long years with animals, people in trouble, and sportsmen at the top of their game have given Ian real insight into human movement - not just on the biomechanical level, though he shines there, but on a psychoscocial level as well. I have watched in awe a number of times as Ian worked with groups, where he is nothing short of miraculous in his ability to get all manner of people working together, no matter their skill or ability level. With individuals, his 'no nonsense empathy' is motivational in its best sense. I heartily recommend Ian for whatever position he seeks. He is a great addition to any team.
