Paris Wages is a professional teacher and facilitator of Dance in the community. She is a consummate professional, inspiring and intelligent. Paris was a professional dancer who maintains her currency via classes, professional learning and reviewing dance performance. She is one of 3 dance professionals in Australia who is certified to teach Dance to people living with Parkinson's disease. I've known Paris for almost 11 years. We have collaborated on a series of projects together, one included a film that received a laurel in the Frame x Frame festival in Houston Texas, and the other a partnership with Dance for Parkinsons Australia, The Australian Ballet and the NGV.

Paris is a remarkable group fitness instructor with a creative approach that sets her apart. I first met her as a participant and watched her evolve into an instructor who thinks outside the box, exploring diverse ways to challenge the body. She’s completed several of my courses, and I’ve always appreciated her intelligent questions and dedication to understanding the material deeply. Paris brings commitment, preparation, and genuine care to every class, ensuring her participants are engaged and supported. I highly recommend her as an instructor; she’s passionate, thoughtful, and always delivers a unique, effective experience.

Paris reported to me during my time at Hawthorn Aquatic & Leisure Centre (March 2022-May 2024), and she was always an exemplary staff member! Easy to lead and takes on feedback well, however her classes were what really stood out. Her classes were/are of the highest quality, and she is able to adapt her teaching style to a wide demographic of people of all abilities, ages and abilities. I could not speak more highly of Paris!
