A Bit About Me
I have been the Head Teacher of Sport & Fitness at TAFE NSW Region South since 2018.
Prior to 2018 I was the Head Teacher for Health & Recreation which included allied health, remedial massage, sport & fitness for the Illawarra Institute of TAFE NSW from 2000 through to 2018.
I have been an exercise professional since completing my degree in physical & health education and commencing work in gyms as a remedial massage therapist, martial arts and fitness instructor.
Aside from working with clients at the Shellharbour TAFE on campus gym I maintain my professional practice as a PT and Remedial therapist providing remedial massage and martial arts based fitness sessions to clients from the local community.
As a professional Health Educator, having studied mental health & stress management as part of my degree as well as Physical education I have a keen interest in using exercise to promote total well-being and not just physical fitness.
